California Photoshoot San Diego

After spending 3 weeks working hard non-stop in Chicago I was jetting off to California. I had a photoshoot for VegasVixxens. We are collaborating on a few projects and collecting fresh photos. These came from 3 days of shooting and you'll see we got a ton of great shots. Sometimes magic happens. These are just a portion of what we were able to get. Loving so many is truly a testament to a quality collaboration.

Going through the photoshoot process is not easy. First it is grooming, workouts and diet. Trying to look your best is a lot of work. I have some minimal retouching but I never want to produce an image that I feel is a lie. I feel most happy when I know these are me. Certainly the best of me, but not far from reality.

I was terribly excited to shoot at the beach. It is not something that I can do everyday being in Las Vegas. The beach is so challenging especially without a crew to hold lights and reflectors.

While being in San Diego we took the opportunity to shoot fashion at Balboa Park. I know I have to return here with all of the fascinating backdrops for photoshoots. Every time we turned a corner there was something exciting to shoot.
